Measure Apple Search Ads ROAS, not just installs.
An install is not subscription revenue. AdsBuddy connects your Apple Ads reporting with RevenueCat so you can inspect paid acquisition alongside attributed purchases and renewals, where the required attribution is available.
No card required. Demo data is illustrative; no live campaigns are changed.
Use attributed revenue, not all app revenue
Paid ROAS is revenue attributed to Apple Ads divided by Apple Ads spend for a comparable reporting scope. Organic purchases belong in your app's total revenue, but should not be counted as paid results simply because ads were running at the same time.
Illustrative example: $120 in attributed revenue divided by $100 in ad spend is 1.20× ROAS. If the app also earned $300 organically, adding that $300 would overstate the paid return. These are example numbers, not an AdsBuddy customer result.
Connect the attribution chain
Connect the correct Apple Ads account and organization, then link the app to its RevenueCat project. RevenueCat API access and webhook configuration are separate from install attribution: seeing transactions does not, by itself, tell you which campaign acquired the customer.
Check your app's Apple AdServices attribution integration and the identifiers needed to join purchases to paid acquisition. Where attribution is missing, treat ROAS as unavailable, not zero. Campaign-level coverage also does not automatically prove complete keyword-level coverage.
Compare the same period and currency
Check the reporting dates, last synchronization and currency before interpreting a result. Do not add dollar spend and euro revenue directly. A calendar-period ratio is not a lifetime cohort return: renewals from earlier installs can fall inside today's revenue window.
ROAS is not net profit. Store fees, refunds, taxes, service costs and the time it takes subscriptions to renew can change the economics. Use attributed results as evidence for the next review, not a guarantee that a campaign will stay profitable when scaled.
Your first steps
- Verify the Apple Ads organization and app mapping.
- Connect RevenueCat and check webhook delivery.
- Confirm attribution coverage, dates and currency.
- Inspect paid results separately from total app revenue.
