Tell AdsBuddy how hard to push each app: watch only, validate carefully, scale winners, or move faster with stricter kill rules.
WatchLearn from revenue and seasonality, but avoid fresh paid spend until you restart intentionally.
CarefulSmall tests, conservative bids, and strict stop-losses. Best default for new or uncertain apps.
GrowthPush validated winners harder, test promising countries, and move budget faster when numbers support it.
Growth posture answers one simple question: how hard should AdsBuddy push this app? It is set per app, so SnakeSnap can be aggressive while a smaller seasonal app stays careful or watch-only.
Growth posture does not override your budget cap. AdsBuddy can only recommend or apply changes inside the monthly and daily limits you set.
The four postures
Watch — use this when you do not want fresh ad spend right now. AdsBuddy keeps reading revenue, seasonality, organic demand and old campaign history. New plans avoid active paid tests until you change the posture or restart ads.
Careful — the safest active mode. AdsBuddy validates with low daily budgets, conservative bids and tight stop-losses. Use it for new apps, weak data, uncertain countries, or apps where you mainly want to avoid waste.
Growth — use it when an app has proof and you want AdsBuddy to find more volume. Plans can recommend stronger daily budgets, clearer country splits, faster bid increases on winners, and faster cuts on leaks.
Aggressive — use it when speed matters and you accept more testing risk inside a hard cap. Plans can push bids and budgets harder, test competitor-exact ideas when there is good context, and kill losers within 24-48 hours instead of letting them drift.
Where to choose it
1New app
Choose the posture in the Add app modal before AdsBuddy builds the first plan.
2Existing app
Open My apps → your app → Settings and use Growth posture.
3Rebuild
Regenerate the plan when you want the next plan to reflect the new speed.
What changes after you switch
Future plans use the new posture as guidance for budget, bids, country testing and stop-loss speed.
Dashboard recommendations become more conservative or more growth-oriented based on the posture.
Existing live campaigns are not blindly changed just because you switched posture; AdsBuddy still shows exact changes before Apple Ads writes.
Watch posture avoids fresh paid spend in new plans, but it does not erase history or disconnect your app.
Good defaults
New app or unclear economics: Careful.
Season is weak or you want to stop spending: Watch.
App already converts and you want more volume: Growth.
Hot season, proven revenue, and budget available: Aggressive.
Think of Ads mode as the on/off switch for ads, and growth posture as the speed setting for the next plan.
