Getting startedHow AdsBuddy works
The core loop — read your data, build a plan, test it against a gate, surface what needs you each day, and apply only what you approve.
AdsBuddy is a daily copilot for indie iOS developers running their own Apple Search Ads. It reads your campaigns and your real subscription revenue, then each day hands you a short, prioritized list of changes worth making — each one explained in plain words.
The loop
- Read — campaigns, keywords, bids and spend from Apple Search Ads; subscription revenue and attribution from RevenueCat; the install funnel from App Store Connect.
- Plan — an AI-generated ads plan grounded in your app's economics: structure, starting bids, keywords, a budget band.
- Test — new plans run against a 14-day validation gate with explicit stop-loss conditions, so spend always has a measurement window.
- Brief — every day you get the handful of actions that actually need you, sorted by impact (the daily brief).
- Apply — you approve, AdsBuddy executes against Apple Ads and verifies the result. Undo from History. (Approvals & apply.)
The consent model
AdsBuddy never changes your campaigns or spends your budget silently. Every change shows exactly what it will do before it happens; your click is the consent. The only exception is auto-pilot — strictly opt-in, off by default, limited to tightly-bounded action types, and every action it takes is logged and reversible.
What it won't do
- It won't exceed the daily/monthly limits you set — enforced server-side at apply time, not just suggested.
- It won't ask for your Apple ID password — only the official scoped API keys Apple and RevenueCat issue.
- It won't judge a test early — the validation gate measures from the day a baseline was captured, not from whenever you look.
